Its considered part of the punishment to those who committed the crime. Even if one has been fully rehabilitated, once they made that conscious decision to do a felony crime than they lost certain rights as U.S. citizens. I see nothing wrong with that.  smoking

Prisoner's can petition to have their right to vote restored.? Prison isn't about rehabilitation, it's about punishment.? Since nearly 70% of those in prison return, any concept or ruse of rehabilitation is laughable.
