Thats unfortunate. 

I personally believe its the artists prerogative to license music, but in this case its clear that Cobain didnt advocate such deals.  However, hes dead and the rights went where they went so thats how it goes.

Don't marry a bitch and maybe this doesn't happen. It's a shame, sort of, the music had been raped of its integrity already through massive radio play, covers and mocks.
