For VH, they'll probably wait until the end.  Best for last I suppose.

I wish Dave and Sammy were singing with the band. ?Seperatly of course. ?Also, Micheal Anthony kicks ass and should be playing also. ?I don't know why this guy was thrown out of the band just cause he was still friends with Sammy. ?That's gay and who wants to see the 15yr old kid? ?Not me.

I understand that they are going to play "Ain't Talkin 'Bout Love" and "Runaround".  "Runaround' is so lame.

I personally cannot stand VH.  As successful as the band is (no matter which version) you would think they'd all be able to come together for one of their biggest accomplishments.  But after reading a few articles about Roth and everyone else related to the band, and the whole controversy concerning the "real" lead singer, theres just too many pissing matches, and self centered bullshit going on to take any of them serious anymore.

Interesting performance, stayed very true to the original ATBL.

Nice to see Dave playing the EVH guitar.

Slash kinda messed up the intro, but nicely rebounded.  Duff was great in Anthony's shoes.

No comment on Weiland.

Um, was that Runaround they did at the end?

They must've put about 30 seconds worth of "rehearsal" into that.

Thanks for disrespecting one of my favorite bands  ok

Exceptions for Matt, Duff and Dave - they did their jobs well. Slash did OK but he seemed somewhere else. I don't care that its rock n' roll, its rude to induct someone and make a speech with notes while wearing sunglasses. I really don't think they would've been there if they didn't have an album coming out. Sad. Pathetic.

If I have to say something nice about that performance, I'll say that since Slash missed the intro to ATBL (which sounded ok - its the easiest Van Halen song to cover with the exception of You Really Got Me), at least we know it was actually live.

Yep, I caught that too, ?absolutely blistering from that point on. ?Agreed on Duff as well, he and Matt definitely held down the fort.

No comment on Weiland.

Not horrific by any means, but hardly captivating.

People have waited a long time for this

I thought their induction speech was cardboard and without feeling.  All they did was have each member read a line off the cue card like some kinda plastic commercial robots.  Matt Sorum had the most feeling.  Duff was wearing a top hat half the height of Slash's.  Slash did seem somewhere else like someone else said.  He also really screwed the intro to ATBL.  C'mon guys this does not get me excited about "Libertad."

Oh, one more thing.

Major credit to GeraldFord for calling the EVH guitar.  Although Kusher was the one who played it.

"Kinda messed up the intro?Huh?" ?It was very sloppy and so was the rest of it. ?Solo was definitely off as well. ?B/c Ain't Talkin Bout Love is not the hardest VH song, I don't know what this says. ?Slash didn't care, couldn't play it, or Eddie is just that good? ?It's a shame he wasn't there.

All together now, everyone, let's all get together and criticize the performance! ? Every move and every word and every note........... ?Roll Eyes Tongue ?

I thought they did pretty good, myself. ?Especially considering the fact that, unfortunately, VH couldn't be all together to perform songs, themselves. ?

On that note...what was Weiland saying at the end where Diamond Dave says "if you want it got ta bleed for it baby?" ?If you are honoring the band in inducting them, get the lyrics right!
