Gimme some truth (INTRODUCE YOURSELF HERE)

I thought I would take a minute to introduce myself. I have been a guest at this site for probaably 5yrs now. This site is amazing for updates. You are all very loyal GNR fans. I first started listening to GNR when I was 17 in 1987. My first concert was summer of 91 CNE Toronto, Canada. I was front row with 2 friends and I had the dozen red roses to through on the stage for Axl (crazy tenny boper). When UYI came out I sent my boyfriend to stand in line at the record store for 1 hr to get those first copies. (He is my husband now). The summer of 92 I saw them play a very intimate concert in Hamilton, Ontario at the Copps Collisium. Lot's of acoustics, girls on stage topless serving Axl and Slash drinks, Axl playing guitar! Anyway, I was one of those newlyweds who had to have GNR music at the wedding at the engagement party and every other event I have hosted. It's a known fact that I love GNR. I was at the Toronto show in Dec. 2002 front row center (they were a gift from a business friend of my husbands). All the other people we were with were in a box for the concert(free booze,food) etc. But there was no way I was not going to be right in front. I did receive one of bucketheads toys. It was an action figure of the scariest guy I have ever seen.( I mean that you could buy from a toy store). The name is "Dragon's Lair - Mordoc with Ding Bats" was the name of it. My kids are scarred to look at the face on the thing. Anyway I was almost late for the concert because my friend and I were at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in T.O. trying to get an autograph from someone in the band. One of the men from the "promotions" dept came down and said that Axl was about to come downstairs and to wait by a certain elevator. Well we were the only 2 there so I don't think we were much of a threat (this was at about 10:30pm) so the arena was already full. So we waited and the hotel security was mostly women (on a power trip) and just as he was coming out they rushed him to the back door what a nightmarem, anyway needless to say we took off in a cab and ran through the building and across the floors right up to the front and had maybe 10 - 15 min to spare. Well the next day we took off for London, Ontario for the concert we stayed at the same hotel as the crew. They were everywhere (Snow storm from hell) We were 2nd row in London and the show was amazing. Bandana's and shirts were sold out ! So my husband went up to someone in the stands and offered them 2 tickets on the floor mid section for their shirt off their back and their bandana for me!!!! True love.
