The 2 bests days of my life when I saw GN'R for the first time ever and the other concert.
It was just amasing to see this band right in front of me!

wich made me scream like a little girl cus of all the exitment of whatching the GOD of Rock N' roll himself wear my sunglasses!

Greetings, folks. I've lurked here on and off for a couple years now. Finally decided to register. I'm going to Monday's show, and really looking forward to it, though the lame-o openers we're getting for the Halifax date are a bit of a drag. Oh well! More beer time! For the longest time, I'd written off Axl and Chinese Democracy, and then back around 2002, after the  not so hot performance at the MTV Awards, my curiousity was perked. I'm a huge Buckethead fan, so I got a kick out of hearing him play the old material. Crossing my fingers that some of his playing will remain on the album. I was pretty worried after Bucket left the band, but then I decided to check out one of Ron Thal's solo albums, and wow! Trippy player. Axl sure knows how to find a replacement guitarist. Can't wait to see him shred it up on Monday.

I'm looking forward to the new album, assuming it ever sees  the light of day after all these years. Really like the new material. Better, The Blues, Madagascar, and IRS are each great songs - nothing like the old lineup's work, but IMO, there's a lot more talent to this touring lineup than there was in the original band, so I'm keen to hear the complete album.

Me too! It is an interesting site- so hello everybody- Well what can I say about me- Ok, my profession: Im an (cultural and social) anthropologist /ethologist(I have studied this), but most of my time I was working as a barkeeper in a music-pub.
Im not so familiar with the forums and internet sites, but after a Gnr gig a few times ago (by the way I found it great- like in the old times, perhaps better, with a new drive!)? I decided to look into the net, searching for some reviews, newspaper articles etc.( and I found out that there are really lots of forums and sites dedicated to gnr on the web, I was interested- so here I am)So I began reading the pages every now and then,,,and today I decided to introduce me- so here I am....

I'm 32.  Always kinda liked GNR since WTTJ came out, but I got hugely into it when T2 came out 15 years ago.  Yikes!  has it been that long?  Anyway, I was a huge fan of the movie Aliens by James Cameron.  I was really excited that James Cameron was putting out Terminator 2.  I bought the YCBM single (with Cilvil War as a B-side) on tape in anticipation of the film.  And here I am 15 years later.

So I've been here for a few months and never went to this thread to introduce myself. My name is Nick and I am 16 years old. I have one GN'R show under my belt, I seen them in Greensboro, North Carolina on November 2nd, 2006 and it was the best night of my life. Other than that you should all know I am an avid artist and drawer and loves the band Iron Maiden to no end. Hope to tlak to everyone on here.
