Steven Adler makes me sad... and I say that with absolute sincerity. 
Didn't he have a stroke a few years back?  So I don't think he's been quite right for a long time.  And all this reunion talk on his part... it sounds like he can't move on (IMO).  Axl sounds like a real good guy who wasn't going to sh*t on Steven's dream.

A one off re-union would be GREAT.  I like the new guys, but I'd rather have CD then a reunion at this point.  Maybe I'll change my mind in a few years.

i like a guy more than Matt Sorum,but he can not play 70-100 concerts in the year.
He has stroke,he use herion and in his 40ies he can not do a tour
Steven can play a couple shows,but his body will never be prepare to play hard tour

If the interview is genuine... then soes this mean the current guys in gnr arent that serious about the band. I mean perhaps they see it as a project rather than a long term thing.

To be honest I saw gnr twice last year and both were unreal gigs.

But the greatest gig of all time for me would be seeing the original guns... Ax n Slash.. it would be unreal!!!!!

Third of all I would laugh if they picked matt instead of alder for the dummer of the tour.

I don't understand why people hate Steven so much. He is one of the five of the AFD line-up and for this I like him. For me the worst integrant of all GNR line-up has been Matt. Anyways I don?t want reunion I love the current line-up and I am a fan since 1990. For me the only person necessary for being GNR is Axl and in a second place Izzy. I hope the current line-up remains for a long time. However I think that it would be nice having Steven as a guest in some show.

Yea and i personally got two awesome gigs and fingers crossed a new record this year.

But what about the future. Any fan who hasnt seen the original line up... that says they dont want to see that reunion, even as a one off, is simply lying.

Former GUNS N' ROSES drummer Steven Adler's official MySpace page has been updated with a brand new Adler interview, conducted on January 13, 2007. Read on:

Steven: I saw Axl, talked with him from, shit, what was it? 10 or 12 at night to 8 in the morning, we talked. We resolved a lot of fucking shit!

Q: What was that like? That must've been weird!

Steven: It was wonderful! Just wonderful. I was the same happy-go-lucky person that I've always been to him, and he enjoyed it. Dude, we talked 'till 8 in the morning!

Q: Wow.

Steven: It was at The Hard Rock when he played there.

Q: Did you see the show?

Steven: Yeah?three people in his band all look like Izzy! I told him it sucked. I was kidding. I said, "You know the five of us have to get back together! That's when it will really fucking take off again! Nothing will be bigger. It would be the biggest reunion ever in history."

Q: What did he say?

Steven: You know how he is. He just grinned and giggled a little bit. Everybody in his band came up to me, "You're the greatest fucking drummer! We tell Axl, 'You gotta get the band back together!'" That's what they said to HIM! It was wonderful!

Q: What else is goin' on?

Steven: Um, I've been talking with Izzy. I've been talking with Slash. 20 years, dude, since 'Appetite' came out. Axl's record is supposed to come out, in what, a few months?

Q: Yeah, hopefully.

Steven: Izzy wants a reunion. I know what I need to do. Before anything happens, me and Chip (Z'Nuff) have been talkin' about doing a world tour.

Here we go again, I think its already been discussed enaugh, maybe not on this forum but I think its not worth starting a discussion about it couse we will never know if its true or not.
