I can't see it happening anytime soon no matter what Adler might or might not believe in his mind.   Roll Eyes

It could possibly happen a few years from now but, who knows if Adler will still be alive if/when it happens?    Shocked    nervous

Obviously Adler likes his drugs quite a bit.   yes

Not good.    no    Cry

there's a bigger chance of a reunion than Adler saying anything credible.

if there ever is a reunion, Sorum will be the drummer, not Adler.

I don't buy it.  If there ever was a reunion I'd imagine Sorum would be on drums.  Even the text of the article makes it seem like something he and Izzy talked about but no one else is really considering.   Still, fun to hear the old band members are talking.

The horse is officially dead...

And Adler is officially "addled".

If a reunion happened, the last person to mastermind it or organize it would be Adler.
Come on...the guy has fallen so far from grace.
I wish him no ill will, but out of all the guys in GnR, he's obviously the one who would benefit the most from a reunion.
The other 4 original members are all doing just fine financially. It's obvious wishful thinking on his part.

Steven said that Axl's reaction to him mentioning a reunion was:

You know how he is. He just grinned and giggled a little bit.

But here's the press:

I too doubt he is lying - he is just so out of it he probably doesn't even remember what really happened.  Additionally, I truly find it hard to believe that Axl sat around shooting the shit with Steven for 8 hours  - maybe it took Axl that long to figure out what Steven was saying.   confused

I think Adler is doing some mental mastrubation.? Everyone I know says that hypothetically if they were to reform, Matt would be the drummer.? IMO he is much more talented than Adler.

Um no, as a musician Matt is a BORING drummer. he plays the SAME fills in the SAME place over and over in each song.

adler had groove

Guns N Roses' former drummer Steven Adler has hinted that the original line-up may reform.

The sticksman, who left the band in 1990, revealed in an interview on his official MySpace page that he has been in contact with Axl Rose over a reunion.

Adler said: "I saw Axl, talked with him from, shit, what was it? 10 or 12 at night to 8 in the morning, we talked. We resolved a lot of fucking shit! I said, 'You know the five of us have to get back together! That's when it will really fucking take off again! Nothing will be bigger. It would be the biggest reunion ever in history'.

"He just grinned and giggled a little bit. Everybody in his band came up to me and said, 'You're the greatest fucking drummer!. We tell Axl, 'You gotta get the band back together'!" That's what they said to HIM!"

The drummer also revealed that he has also been in contact with ex bandmate and Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash and ex-rhythm guitarist Izzy Stradlin, who has already made a number of guest appearances on Guns N Roses' recent tour.

He added: "I've been talking with Slash. I've been talking with Izzy. He wants a reunion."

Rose, who is currently fronting Guns N' Roses, is due to release the band's long-awaited new album 'Chinese Democracy' on March 6.

I don't want a reunion.

Let the current band release Chinese Democracy. Let VR release Libertad. May they both be great albums and bands.

If they reform it will all go to shit again, that's for sure.
