The Guns N' Roses site is pretty poor as far as band sites go.  I think it's quite low quality.  I'm a designer, and just about every part of the site is low quality, from the code, to the use of images.  And yeah, the fact that there's been some news posted and no one's been emailed about it is bad.  The Axl letter you'd have imagined would have been in the mailing list.

I created a thread about a week ago regarding the general disappointment of the official website. It was up for about five minutes, then deleted by one of the sensitive mods.

Don't be critical of the official website, no matter how bad it is.

What's wrong w/ the official website ?

It's improved alot in the past month, imo.

It's quite refreshing to go there and not see that picture of Axl advertising the "open letter to his fans".
