I highly doubt that Slash would"jump" at the chance if Axl asked him to.  There have been huge money offers b/f to try in get the band back together for a tour. I remember reading that somewhere, it was either Duff or Slash that said it.

The only one who wants a reunion right now is alder. And really who would want to get mixed up with that has been.

I dont think Axl would have offered it, especialy after 97-99(mabye)... It would have had to of been right after the orginals were gone... I dont see Axl starting up with the new guys in 99/00 just to fire them for money from the record company... I think the record company is the ones who offered it.... I never heard Axl was offered any amount to let those guys back into the studio with him... Whos to say slash/duff never accepted that money but Axl disagreed, so the reunion never went through??

I wouldnt mind being in Slashs position....second most popular member of Guns N Roses and as far as most people on this earth are concerned will always be in Guns N Roses....and being in a brand new multi-platinum selling hard rock band....the guy has it made....and he doesnt have to answer for Chinese not being out......he is kind of free to do whatever he wants...thats why he could care less about a reunion at this point....

If you want to be stuck in the past that's fine.  But it ain't ever happening and if it did, it would be for all the wrong reasons.  Too many bridges have been burned and there are too many big egos involved for any reunion to be about anything but money.  And since none of the guys with the exception of Adler need the money it's not realistic

We already know that the two sides are way too proud to ever admit they were wrong.  The original lineup has been dead and buried for years.  At this point in time it's evident that Axl, Izzy, Slash, and Duff have stopped living in the past.  Steven not so much.  But everyone else should take note

I can enjoy Axl's band. But that is because I would enjoy Axl even if he was singing with Britney Spears or Michael Jackson. I want GNR to get back again and do NEW music. Those five guys can write (and play!) rock n' roll songs better then the Beatles, the Stones and the Ramones!

But it ain't ever happening and if it did, it would be for all the wrong reasons.

At this point in time it's evident that Axl, Izzy, Slash, and Duff have stopped living in the past. Steven not so much.

Axl and his band played Appetite songs every night last year and made a shit load of money out of it. Steven did the same thing, but his band is not 1/100 as big as Axl's band. AND Axl calls his band Guns n' Roses. Now tell me who is living in the past? And who is living off the past?

I don't care about "new" and "modern" music. This is all shit to me. I like rock n' roll and I like great music. And as far as I am concerned, nobody can rock better than Axl, Izzy, Slash, Duff and Steven!
