Thank you Axl, this actually made me cry.

There are no words to describe this. It's finally here, what I and everybody else have been waiting for for so many many years. We may not get the album for christmas, but this will do nicely.

It certainly has been quite a ride being a fan of this band. ? Fascinating letter, it would be interesting to know all these things that have been going on behind the scenes.

I can't help but think that part of the reason Merck fucked up is because Axl is so unpredictable and changes his mind so often, but none of us can say we know what "the real truth" is, and I have always been in Axl's corner. That's not going to change now.

Any question of Axl's motives was canceled out by the release date. Really nice move, and thanks Axl for ending the speculation. I can't believe we are moving into yet another year in this saga, but the release date makes it pretty easy to take, especially when it is coming up so soon.

Best of luck to all in the GNR camp, and I can't wait to hear this album!!!!!

Don't be stupid, this is the largest bit of news we've ever gotten from the band at this point regarding a release date(we've never got an actual date like this, EVEN A TENTATIVE ONE)

and its not only about that, its about finally getting some fuckin' explanation!

I have to say that I am very happy I read this tonight...today, for the first time I was really begiining to get sick of the complete disregard of the fans...now I'm happy that Axl has come out and shed some light on what has been going on. ?Faith is restored...Guns are going to OWN 2007! ?Suck on that! ?
