Not much info, a cool interview though but in gnr-news I would sum it up in:

"It will be cool and it will be soon....Trust me.."

That maybe not means March but it means that 2007 will not be a replay of 2006 or the other years we thougt the album were on its way. Its for real this time. great news to me!

BBF is great!!

I don't think it means that.  They have used the word "soon" for at least 5yrs.

what do you think he meant by what he said about that tour setlist which was on gnr.com but pulled shortly after?

what do you think he meant by what he said about that tour setlist which was on gnr.com but pulled shortly after?

I dont remember exactly but he said something like "Its just a setlist, just songs, nothing more"

In my own opinion I think that  we all knew that "Prostitute" for example is one of the songs that are possibly on CD and that they hoped that they would release CD before end of 2006 so its no strange at all that it appeared at the setlist.

BBF also said that one of the reasons for GNR to keep secrets from us is that they wont tell us things that arent 100% certain, so that must have been the reason why they took away the article with setlist because they couldnt promise CD before 2007 and the picture just got our hopes up  and they knew how much buzz it would be so maybe that explains the setlist thing.

I think BBF explained alot of things with those few words about what was going on.

As several of us have said elsewhere, I can't imagine them announcing a tour without at least updating everyone on the status of CD, if not actually confirming a release date.  Fingers crossed...

i know they didn't play all of the listed new songs but did they play every old song at least once from the alternate side of the list?
