Finally! A thread on that interview!

He was mostly talkin bout missin a hhokers n blow gig due to bad weather. when asked bout CD, he just said "i can tell ya theres a blizzard outside my window" or somesuch.

he sounded optimistic and happy but worryingly vague bout CD, even the tracklisting.

Yeah, I didn't know whether to be happy or sad after the interview.  He sounded like CD would be released really soon, but when asked on the Mar 6 date he really dodged and made it sound like it wouldn't be for awhile.  This is frustrating.

He didn't say anything major.

Said something about seeing the Cd soon. But in a vague way.

He talked alot about Jagermeister though, big fan of it.

It's just the tone and way he said it, kind of like a sore subject thing.  That's how I saw it at least.

I don't make too many negative posts on here, or any GN'R site for that matter, but Dizzy commented on Axl's bad press and how people believe crap that isn't true.?

Then when asked about CD and its rumored release date, he, along with everyone else, avoids it.

Well, what are journalists and the press supposed to talk about when they aren't told anything?? Everyone is left in the dark, so assumptions about Axl and this new band are made.? They do it to themselves.?

aye - leave off Dizzy - we'll hardly be hearing about the release date from him - so quit expecting it.

Imagine if it was the one main question you were asked by EVERYONE over and over again each and every day.  How could it *not* be a sore subject?

Still, any vague comments about the album coming out "soon" make me nervous, as "soon"  has been used since, what?  The late 90's?
