My pick would be the Brian May band supporting Guns N Roses on the first date of the Skin N Bones tour  ok and if I had of been a little older I would have gladly travelled to somewhere in Europe to see this yes

02.23.93 - Frank Erwin Center, Austin, TX
opening act: Brian May Band
set: Welcome To The Jungle, Garden Of Eden, It's So Easy, Attitude, Double Talkin' Jive, The Garden, Live And Let Die, So Fine, You Ain't The First, You're Crazy, Used To Love Her, Patience, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Piano Solo, November Rain, Dead Horse, Drum Solo, You Could Be Mine, Guitar Solo, Guitar / Piano Jam, Sweet Child O' Mine
encore: Nice Boys, Paradise City
audio/video recording?: audio
notes: The first show on the Skin N' Bones tour, a setup that lasted until the end of the tour. An acoustic set is introduced in the middle of the show, usually consisting of: You Ain't The First, You're Crazy, Used To Love Her, Patience & Knockin' On Heaven's Door. Sometimes Slash played an acoustic guitar during November Rain. Dead Flowers was added to the acoustic set during the European leg of the tour. The first live performance of 'The Garden' and probably 'Garden Of Eden.' One of the rare shows when 'Mr. Brownstone' was not played. Axl mimics himself crying before 'Double Talkin' Jive.' Slash jams on 'Communication Breakdown' at the beginning of 'Double Talkin' Jive.' Duff introduces Axl during intros, saying, "Axl Rose on gee-taw."

if only l was a little older l would have wanted to see this show, my dads mate was at this show and he loved it smoking

05.30.93 - National Bowl, Milton Keynes, England
opening acts: The Cult, Soul Asylum, Blind Melon
set: It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Welcome To The Jungle, Live And Let Die, Attitude, Nightrain, Double Talkin' Jive, You Ain't The First, You're Crazy, Used To Love Her, I Was Only Joking [Intro] / Patience [w/ Over The Hills And Far Away & Imagine], Dead Flowers, Knockin' On Heaven's Door [w/ Mike Monroe], Piano Solo, November Rain, Dead Horse, Drum Solo, You Could Be Mine, Guitar Solo, Godfather Theme, Sweet Child O' Mine, Honky Tonk Women [w/ Mike Monroe & Ronnie Wood], Mother [Intro] / Paradise City
audio/video recording?: audio, video
notes: Axl announces that this is "Slash night at Milton Keynes." Axl makes fun of a male fan who is holding up a sign saying "show me your tits," and it's pointed at the stage! Slash plays a bit of Led Zeppelin's Over The Hills And Far Away during Patience. Great guest performances by Mike Monroe and Ronnie Wood. Dead Flowers is played for the first time

The Ritz 88 derrr!!!!!!!!!!!  Seriously though I would hav eloved to see any show with the Appetite line-up...

I still hold the Boston Garden St. Patrick's day show in 1993 the best show I have ever been to.

03.17.93 - Boston Garden, Boston, MA
opening act: Brian May Band
set: It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Nice Boys, The Garden, Live And Let Die, Welcome To The Jungle, Attitude, Double Talkin' Jive, You Ain't The First, You're Crazy, Used To Love Her, Patience [w/ Pinball Wizard & Over The Hills And Far Away], Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Piano Solo, November Rain, Dead Horse, Drum Solo, You Could Be Mine, Guitar Solo, Since I Don't Have You [Intro] / Sweet Child O' Mine, Reckless Life, Don't Cry, Paradise City
attendance: 15,000
audio/video recording?: audio
notes: Cool St. Patrick's Day show in the Boston Garden. The show is temporarily stopped after Nice Boys because someone threw a bottle onstage. Axl goes off on WBCN, a Boston radio station, for calling his hotel room too early in the morning. Axl asks Duff how Cornshucker goes and Duff jams on the opening chords! Duff also recites the first verse! This song was performed by GN'R at the Limelight in NY on 1.31.88. Slash plays a bit of Buick Mackane during his guitar solo. Rare performance of Reckless Life.

** This mini review fails to mention the near riot..  Axl yells out "have a good fuckin night" after the third song and doesn't come back for 15 minutes..... When he did everyone started booing and I was sure that was it.. But then he talked his way out of it, got everyone fired up and went into the Garden which was perfect.. The crowd intensity was like none I have ever seen either and I go to tons of shows.. Boston , St. Patty's Day at a Gn'R show in their hey day, that's all that needs to be said..
