Why not?  It would make sense to me since a lot of production companies look to film outside the US to cut production costs that result from working with unions.

just so you know, there are NO quotes from Mandela in the song, NOTHING

Yeah, I realized that this morning.  I didn't confuse him with Martin Luther King or anything, I just thought there was a Mandela speech quote in there somewhere.  I apologize for that.    beer

Of course, a Mandela quote wouldn't be a bad idea, if they plan to keep the quotes.  I presume that when they play at RSA, they'll have images of Mr. Mandela on the video screen during that song.  It makes sense.

oh god, i hope not....every western star which comes here kisses Mandela's ass so much that its becoming so boring to watch...the local crowd can't stand listening to it anymore.....Bono is the worst....he even got publicly bashed by a radio dj here for having used the word "mandela" 5 times in one sentence...

its nice that the whole world admires him, but they should leave it at that....focus on their own set and performance instead...

what would work much better is if Axl was to learn some local words and spin those around every now and again....that will impress the locals much more...

2. The song features quotes from Nelson Mandela, the former Prime Minister of South Africa.

As far as I can tell, it doesn't.

It does, however, contain many quotes by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

FUCK the video bullshit....I just want to hear new tracks.....Just a single of Madagascar would be fine with me.....That song will be classic.....A video is secondary.....it would be cool to see a new video but....first thing is FUCKIN' first.

It also has quotes from Morgan Freeman's character in the movie Se7ven.  If you haven't seen it, go rent it!  A woman gets fucked by a dude with knives on his dick and it cuts her pussy up until she dies.  Also this killer murders a pregnant woman and cuts her head off.

Just a little of that AFD attitude sneaking in!!!

Yeah, I addressed that here:

For the sake of argument, let's presume that Better is indeed the 1st single.  Based purely upon those songs which we have heard, I'd think "The Blues" would be a great pick for the customary demographic-widening second single ballad, with either footage from the SA shows used for either Madagascar or TWAT for single 3.  If they elect to use  live footage for Better, ten well, that's pretty much out the window, but for some odd reason, I find it hard to envision this band using sound stages or sets for videos.  I don't know why, but I have a hard time picturing that style of video from these guys.
