This threads pointless, jarmo has to spend alot of time making this site work, so clearly he picks capable moderators, if one of them started to destroy in anyway something he had built im sure he'd be rid of them?

After all, without the masses, this "house" would be
nothing
.
Nothing, eh?
Please elaborate; if this site were to be, or rather to become, nothing, then what exactly would that mean?
Jarmo certainly isn't making any money out of the message board directly (minor t-shirt sale profits asside), nor is he actively chasing members. You won't be seeing any "7000 MEMBERS!, PLUS AND COUNTING" banners lying about the place any time soon. Ten years in existence, let it be known, and
there
is the integrity that Here Today, Gone to Hell is all about, I did it my way and such, not fancy pants numbers (why are unused accounts deleted?) nor monetary gain (why no advertising?).
Naturally, one way to lose such integrity in an instant would be to bow to pressure, pressure from those whose worth of opinion (because opinion isn't always "just an opinion"; it's either well informed or ill informed, do ye ken?) is unknowable.
I've never been a huge advocate of all men having the vote on all matters, anyway.

Hey, I'm just thrilled to see there's another fan of "The Wire" around here. Such a great show.

Krispy if you don't even want to answer this without dancing around the subject I am having a hard time trying to figure out why you even made this topic.
I answered both the question and the motivation directly. No dancing occurred.

Krispy Kreme.
Since you seem to feel the need for a topic such as this, it would be only fair if you'd go first and told your opinion on the subject.
(I just don't like when some people make topics like "what do you think about apples..? discuss.")
I feel no need whatsoever. I just thought that since there seems to be a fair amount of complaining, we might be? able to turn it into something constructive.
I think you do actually since most of the complaining comes from you..
Unlike you, of course, who makes so many positive contributions to the forum. You are the master of snide comments.

Ok, does that answer your question?
It answers my question. The title can be a bit misleading is all. If your intention was what was described in your post.

We left it open so that people could vote, then noone would resign and Krispy Kreme would complain that this is unfair and the people have spoken etc etc....
BUT UNFORTUNATELY YOU MORTALS HAVE RUINED OUR EVIL PLANS FOR WORLD DOMINATION.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
MODERATORS FOREVER.
We could ban all the users and keep the moderators. Hmmmmmmm... that would be fun...
