I think its fun to keep our heads up and speculate and hope. Van Halen fans are doing the same thing

Yeah. I suppose it would be great time to be a Van Halen fan.   Roll Eyes

Stop thinking GN'R is the center of the world. Nobody gives a shit about GNR anymore, besides us. Maybe that'll change with a new album. But there's NO WAY they're showing up

Are you serious ?

I mean really, are you ?? ?no

Well unfortunately he's right, no one gives a shit anymore except us, and I also hope it changes when CD comes out, but in order for that to happen CD has to actually be released. GNR haven't released anything in 15 years, why would the grammys give a crap about them?

take a look at how tickets sold ppl DO CARE. the little promotion plus no album PROVES that.

You're right folks, they dont matter. strange as it may seem a lot of people will go to gigs just to say they saw axl perform the classics.

few of those people will buy the new album, should it ever see the light of day.

i have lots of friends who never particularly liked gnr, and they would have no idea bout CD, or maybe even the previous couple tours, if they didnt know me.

lets get over this idea that its somehow sacriligeous to say it - gnr no longer matter to nearly as many people who bought their albums 16 or more years ago. many of them will buy cd when they get wind of it, but many wont like it much.

so by all means get the album and believe that their level of success matters. but acknowledge that it matters only to a tiny clique. that way you wont be dissappointed. it matters to me that i get the album, and obviously i want to like it, but i dont care if it only sells one copy to me and it reduces them to plaing in my wardrobe. im not interested in how successful they get because of it.

having said that, i have some friends who have been quite nasty bout them. so if said friends end up liking any of the album, i shall remind them of that for the rest of their lives.

I quit. Axl can take a piss and its on the TV. he bites someone and its all over the radios yet no one cares. Right.

Yeah, Mayer is a good guitar player.  Very influenced by SRV and Hendrix.  He's kind of moved away from the pop crap he was doing adn gotten a little more bluesy from what I've seen.

On topic - they did say there would be more surprise performances, but I highly doubt gnr for this one.

Yeah, people care about Axl. But what I said is that nobody cares about GN'R these days. Unfortunately, you must admit, it's the truth. Nobody even know that Robin Finck is the lead guitar player. It's the truth

And I hope it changes with the album

well maybe it differs in diferent places. i heard nothing bout the biting incident apart from on this website. but then i only listen to talk radio.

even the thing where he went to that club and that k fed bloke was there was just shown on some specialist tv entertainment/showbiz magazine type sho in the spirit of "ooh look theres that bloke who was in that band who were big in the 80s and who keeps bleating on bout some album he's aparently making (presenter of said showbiz programme rolls eyes right about here)".

and your exagerating with the takin a piss thing aintcha? go on, admit it...!

maybe some people like the whole soap opera of it. hey, thats part the reason i come here every day. but many of the people who just see gnr as a real life version of Dallas probably wont be buyin' the album.

it also all has a lot to do with the world you yourself inhabit. if you know man people who really do care, itlll seem to you that theyre more relevant than they seem to me. i have few friends who care, and im only really interested to see what the album's like for old time's sake, as it were. weather or not it will become more than that for me probably depends on what i think of the album.

That "blonde bitch" just won a grammy.  She won American Idol a couple years back and she was romantically linked to Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo this year.  I'm kind of ashamed I know THAT much about her.  Not a fan, but she is kinda hot, I'll give her that.

Yeah, they were saying all the people who made it possible or something like that.

Although I'm probably wrong.
