Let's talk about GN'R's performance last night.

Thats what we're trying to do, but no one knows anything at all about it.

Here Today...And Back Tommorrow

« Reply #181 on: February 09, 2007, 10:22:32 AM »

To everyone reading this thread: please stay on topic. Let's talk about GN'R's performance last night.

I think we talked enough about the EMS story. What matters right now is what GN'R played last night.

Thank you for your comprehension.

How are we supposed to talk bout the gig when we know exactly nothing about it?

To me the album is far more important. I couldnt care less that he played some gig as a favor to a mete.

So hes enjoying himself? great. im personally amazed that anyone else involved in the gnr world would be enjoying themselves now unless the album is out within a few weeks, couple months at most. so it must all be sorted then? Well lets get it out there!

so to recap - gnr playin some gig(s)? couldnt care less.

Thats what we're trying to do, but no one knows anything at all about it.

Exactly. Then we can wait to get some real news, instead of debating whether someone got to talk to Axl for 2 minutes or whatever...

I don't see how Axl talking about the album after the gig is off topic. But the bickering, yeah that's unecessary.

First the rumour about the Better video, then Axl acting like recording is finished. This could be it folks beer

While we wait....the only write-up I can find on the event so far is one that talks about Kurt Cobain's daughter's appearance.  Nothing about GNR, but some photo's of celebs that attended.

Its something different and will be a big surprise

This thread is useless. You have a clown who claims he spoke? ?to Axl. If by the chance he even got in, which I highly doubt, he might have met with Axl. But even if he did there is no way Axl told him half that stuff. It was at most a quick hello, thanks for the support, hang in there, its coming type thing. Nothing more than that. Its getting annoying reading all these sites that are trying to get as much attention and publicity as possible.

Another funny  thing that i read was that someone broke the news to newgnr.com saying that gnr would be playing at the even. I guess Versace herself breaking the news wasnt exclusive enough

I think everyone needs to get a grip...including Axl

I think this is great. GNR played this gig, and all accounts and photos point to a happy Axl.
We know the recording and legalities and even touring has been a difficult process, so it's nice to think of Axl and the rest of GNR being happy and doing a gig like this simply because they wanted to.
It's like this band is allowed to be free again. A fashion show here, south africa coming, and a happy band with an album they're happy with on it's way.?

That is probably because the event was not about AXL or GNR. ?I'm sure there will be a story coming soon... they are just getting up out there in LA... give it some more time..... things will surface... ? "patience"

i hope you're right...really i dont give a crap about the awards. all i really want to know is what they played...even then its not a big deal really...its cool they played there but if there is no media attention then that really sucks..that was what i was hoping for most from the gig Sad
