Rodeo Drive's Walk of Style show (Feb 8th)

I didn't get to see the show.  I snuck in as the guests were leaving in their fancy cars.  Most of the people had cleared out, but Axl was just getting started.  He was dancing with a girl he introduced as his girlfriend.  Quincy Jones and Baz were there too.  Axl's definitely still got some dance moves.  It was fun to watch him tear it up.

Talked to Baz too.  He said it was awesome that I'd come in there wearing a  Rush t-shirt and a Miller Lite ballcap.  He thought it was a fashion statement!   I didn't tell him I'd snuck in, and that was just how I dressed normally.

I didn't ask him straight out (we all know he's not just going to come out and say it).  He did explain some of the process he's going through and what stage it's at, but I don't really feel comfortable sharing specific details.  If our conversation was "on the record" as  one of EMS's Ten Questions, that'd be another story.  But we were just talking as dudes.  I wouldn't want to share anything he didn't want out there.

We can't say that for sure. ?Based on his previous comments in the "Open Letter From Axl..." it seems like he needs a few more weeks than he's got between now and March 6th to really launch this thing. ?But I don't know for sure. ?He told me stories, but I don't know enough about the industry to put them in any sort of context.

I wouldn't want anyone to draw conclusions Axl doesn't intend to be drawn. ?All I can say is that he sounds like he's really trying to get that album out there, but that it's a lot of work. ?Shit's been tough for Axl. ?At least he seemed happy tonight. ?

The impression I got was that recording was done, but there was still a process to releasing the album.  But please don't quote me as giving you a one-hundred-precent accurate answer.

I did. I was a stupid idiot and didn't read HRS' first post in the thread before I did. I saw it posted on EMS and rushed right to MyGNR and posted it like a fool forgetting about the MyGNR/EMS relationship. I'm sure photos will surface later on, but for now all I can say is that he IS NOT LYING and he has ample evidence for the doubters which hopefully will turn up sooner or later.

Axl DID tell him a lot about Chinese Democracy and Chris Pitman, and he's not telling you because he respects Axl enough to realize that Axl was telling him this as a fan, not as a person who was going to post it on the Internet. You aren't going to find out until Axl wants you to find out. Betraying Axl's trust is what far too many fans do and I respect MotherGooseLuvR for respecting Axl. Axl expressed his discontent towards the press and the ways facts are distorted by them, so what kind of message would we be sending if we printed something Axl had told him privately on the website - especially now that we know Axl has seen the site before and would know where to look?

Anyway, hold on for a bit and I'm sure soon the photos will show up to prove to all the doubters that it's legit.
