Madagascar is a great song; its lyrics lend itself very readily to the visual medium. It also announces Axl's triumphant return to the world music stage. Personally, it is a great choice, but the only drawback is the fact that it has been out there circulating for four plus years now.

I think this story lacks credibility.  Did they do an interview with Axl?  If not, where did this info come from? 

And a big SHAME ON YOU to the people criticizing Alpachiris's English!  He's not a native speaker...no need to be an ass about it and make the guy feel bad!  The only English he needs to know are the lyrics!

I suppose I can't, really - I'm just going off of what people involved with CD have said about the song over the years. It's frequently been singled out as the one new song that will really surprise people.

They've been playing Madagascar since 2000. LOVE THE SONG, I think its the best next to better.  I don't understand this rumor, did someone just hear about it or was it reported by a magazine or somethin?

I dont think they would release a ballad as their first single. We dont need people saying Axl cant write a good rock song or something like that, it could backfire on the record's success. no

With that said, and Better s'posed to be used in Harley's Ad, I dont see anything else being the single besides Better, let alone a ballad.

So I say this "story" is utter bullshit.

If this ones true C.D. is never coming out ....thats the first time ive ever said that and ive been waiting 13 years. Unfortunatly since we have nothing by now i believe march 6 is about as credible as mereks 13 tuesdays. Just gives him more time to tweak, delay and come up with excuses.the creative process never ends....realize it and use it for the next reecord. he Album is done ...move on its only an album.

there is a possibility that a madagascar edit exists....didn't someone say that the Vegas millenium show which was supposed to have been released as a dvd included the studio version of Madagascar as a feature on it?

the person could easily have been talking about this edit.
