With the 2 SA dates popping up could be expect a few warm-up shows in March (HAMMERSTEIN !!!), perhaps to coincide with the CD's release Huh Maybe wishful thinking but an awesome idea !

hey, it could happen, but if they do it, hopefully they would pick somewhere other than the Hammerstein, since that's where they did it last time. Maybe somewhere in Cali would be better.

You're correct, but you get my point. NYC just had 4 warmups less than a year ago and a full-scale show, an aftershow, etc.

Plus, they cancelled 4 shows in Cali recently.....Give more to Cali, please.... Grin
It must be much easier from a logistics point of view also.

The OBVIOUS place  for several warm up shows is the second largest state in the USA, and considerably warmer than the largest  state in the USA.  Wink Axl, we are waiting for you!  beer

I think it would be pretty rawk if they performed in a small club in LA, harking back on the days when GNR use to troll the dungy LA club scene.

Just a suggestion.

Cheers,

I had to miss out on last years warm up shows, if they do them again in the US. I will be there no matter what.

If they do, it will be in Houston, next week cause I am not fucking there. Or in London just as I leave, or Norway just after I leave. It never fails, missed Kings of Leon that way and a private gig on this Monday with Regina Spector and 50 other fans for the same reason.

i'd say these two shows in sa are perfect warm up / rehearsal gigs....the crowd is nowhere near as critical as in the us....and its a big stage outdoor setup to warm up on...
