I doubt it too. My guess is "Pretty Ricky".

BIG bands don't usually perform at these shows, it's only a small like 700 attendance show.
And alot of emo bands or underground do it.

Tenacious D is the only cool band to do it.

It says "one of these 14 artists" so they could have added anyone...right? Grin

Look at the 14 bands though - GN'R sticks out like a sore thumb amongst a sea of emo bullshit. It seems totally random to have picked them and added them to that list. I have a good feeling about this!  ok

I agree Jeff, it is VERY random! And I dont think they'd just put them there out of the blue. It's not like it'd built excitement for the majority of the people that are looking forward to that stuff, because I'm sure they'd rather hear there emo stuff then GNR.

Lets hope.  drool

Only possible logic I can think of is that Tom, who runs the place has AFD listed as one of his all-time favorite CDs, but that's stretching it a bit thin..

Emo bullshit except 30 Seconds to Mars, a really cool space rock/metal band and if you don't believe me check out their first album or see them in concert. Rancid, who I just don't see this being. And Red Hot Chili Peppers, which is to me the only other band in league with GN'R on there for this to potentially be. And they are currently touring, or have been at least.

I saw a few "gnr rules" there, bad capitalization and all.

would be great promotion for GNR. starting off CD promotion with the biggest person-to-person communication network thing in the world, lots of people would hear it and myspace would get tons of publicity form it, being GNR's "partner" for the CD promotion.

This would be brilliant.

I doubt it'll happen. But it would be brilliant.
