BostonHerald.com: It's been only six months since this began, but have you thought much about the future? About next year, the next tour, the next record?

Rossi: You know, brother, you're the first to ask about the next record. I've done a thousand interviews and no one has asked about the next record. No one seems to get it. We're going to be around a long time. We're going to be a force to be reckoned with. And I'll tell you this, there's going to be a lot more of me on the next record.

Complete Interview: http://theedge.bostonherald.com/musicNews/view.bg?articleid=179166&srvc=edge

I wonder who will be with him on the next record?

Just saw them 2nite and I have to admit that they got the goods. It was a good rock show.  The only problem with this band is the overly commercial vibe that they seem to have, most likely because they have the name Rockstar Supernova which is kinda lame.  (btw I know they can't use Supernova, but they need to figure something else out)  I think they could really build it up big if the members involved decide to stick it out and build up a fan base, one that's not rooted in a tv show.

Blame that on CBS my friend.. It was known BEFORE the first episode 'supernova' had been used... And that band said they would take legal action... The show had just ended when the final judgement was ruled... By that time if they were named anything else, they'd be even more unkown than they are now!!

Unfortunately, they will be around a long time...in the bargain bins.

In all sincerity, I hope they *do* put out a second record to show that they can do as a *band,* rather than three very different rock stars who added a singer at the last minute.   I imagine the singer will have a significant input into the dynamics and sound of the band, once he has a change to actually construct the songs with them, rather than be a hired hand, which is essentially what he was on this first record.   Me, I think they *need* to do another one in order to ditch the joke status that they seem to have been tagged with, and perhaps rightfully so.

And I'm sorry, but "Supernova" is just as bad as "Rockstar: Supernova."

ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA's video for the song "Headspin" has been posted online at YouTube.com. The track comes off the group's self-titled debut album, which has sold 49,000 copies in the United States since its November 21, 2006 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"Headspin" ? about ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA singer Lukas Rossi's rocky relationship with his mother ? is an original RISE ELECTRIC (Lukas' pre-SUPERNOVA band) song that Rossi wrote with guitarist Dominic Cifarelli and performed on the "Rock Star: Supernova" TV show when the contestants were asked to sing one of their originals.

the album did not sell well at all, but the attendance figures are not bad at all, actually-I know he's from Canada, but the us tour attendance could have been worse

I'm still not sold on the band or their music, but they seem much more like a "real band" in the video than they did throughout the show.  If they make it work, good for them...

I actually really like the album...I know I am in the vast minority on this though.  I doubt we'll see another album.  They have been a bust, which is too bad, as I liked them...although I know of no one else who does...
