v excited for you guys!! the day is finally here!  I will be awaiting your updates (no rush if you're on too big a high to want to go near a pc though!)

I read on nme.com that they were doing live streaming from the gig - not sure if this is true though - HA, just checked, they have changed all the news items that said they would have some live streaming - they will now have a song by song blog from 5pm and the "first" live review from inside the arena.

i read somewhere that there would be a DVD release but there was no source so i have no idea if its true.

Yep it's being recorded to be released on DVD...

According to MTV.ca, LED ZEPPELIN's reunion concert in London, which is scheduled to take place tonight (Monday, December 10) will be recorded for a DVD release. The show, which pays tribute to the Atlantic Records co-founder will feature additional performances from FOREIGNER, Paul Rodgers, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts. There's no word on when the DVD will hit shelves.

According to a post at Royal Orleans, a select few invited guests were treated to a LED ZEPPELIN soundcheck consisting of the following songs:

"Good Times Bad Times"
"Ramble On"
"In My Time Of Dying"
"No Quarter"
"Nobody's Fault But Mine"
"D'yer Mak'er"
"Communication Breakdown"

LED ZEPPELIN's 100-minute plus set will not only feature such ZEPPELIN classics as "Whole Lotta Love" and "Dazed And Confused", but also rarities as well. The band has been rehearsing "For Your Life", an album track from the band's 1976 album "Presence" that they have never before played live.

So far Led Zeppelin have played:

'Good Times Bad Times'

Set started with a clip from 'The Song Remains The Same' DVD with an American news clip telling of they broke The Beatles' attendance record for a gig in 1973 in California. Simple stage set, video screen behind the band.

'Ramble On'

'Ramble On' done in extremely slow, bluesy manner, with shards of electric guitar from Jimmy Page.

'Black Dog'
Page wearing dark shades, quite muddy sound. Crowd singing the 'ah-ah' bits back at Plant.

LED ZEPPELIN has kicked off its much-anticipated reunion concert at the O2 arena in London, England. And what did they open with? According to NME.com, tonight's first song ? and the first song ZEPPELIN has played in public in 19 years ? is "Good Times, Bad Times". More setlist updates will follow here.

01. Good Times, Bad Times

Saw that on nme.com. Nice song to open the gig with. Start with the first song from the first album.

'Your Life'
"That's not something you get to hear often these days, Led Zeppelin giving a song its live debut."

They need to play South Bound Saurez. That is one quality song.

I still think Rock And Roll would have been the perfect opener, but why am I complaining? It's a Led Zeppelin reunion gig. You don't get those every day.

"Since I've Been Loving You" and "Dazed And Confused" are my two most favorite songs by Zepp. AnythinggoesII has surely achieved an ecstatic nirvana at this point in the show.
