listening for example the song " the blues " in rock n' ring in germany in 2006  and comparing  with the same performing  in new jersey ....the evolution in the axl voice  is  extraordinary .....

I like Dizzys Intro - never heard that before. 

Concerning the voice I don't know enough 'bout singing. May be the recording technique, how he felt this evening, the training during the tour - dunno. Both sounds great in my ears.

I don't think it's so much as evolution as just an off day. The version from Rock am Ring was poor imo, the version from New Jersey was damn near flawless, but he sang The Blues very well before Rock am Ring too, at Hammerstein for instance. I just think that particular performance of The Blues at RAR was a bad day.

Although Jersey might be technically better, I like the rasp at RAR. Win-win-situiation for me.

The song sounds great in the RAR mix..WOW.  Song sounds the same as 02', glad they haven't changed it.

Give me the rasp anyday.... But at least the 06 RAR, which also sounds great, sounds much better than '02 and the helium voice (my opinion).  Nightrain anytime in '06 was light years better than '02.

I didn't say anything about the voice.  I was just talking about the song in general.  We all know the rasp is back, but I STILL prefer some of the 02' aspects.  Axl could hold a scream at least 10 seconds longer, now he just cuts them off mid-way through.  Still rocks it out hard, but the classic screams need to make a comeback!

for my is more similar to the voice in 92'    in new jersey.........in germany axl voice is cut......but is my opinion  i think

people use to say that in '02 he just used that voice cause he wanted to. I think that it's kinda possible since that in some songs, he did the rasp voice. Not the whole song, but in some parts of the song, like this one:
