When to expect a first single?

Shouldn't We expect a single around The beginning of february. Every band puts out a single a month or more, b4 their CD comes out. I don't think it will be a good thing if we don't see a Single hit By february.

I think most of the people that say something about Chinese Democracy is bullshit no one knows anything about CD neither the first single... so we just can wait an Axl's announcement....

If the march 6th release date still stands then a single should be released couple of weeks from now.

If March 6th is the date then yes a single within a week. As there is only 6 weeks until March 5th/6th it seems unlikely that will now be the release date for CD. End of March beginning of April is probably our best hope at this stage, with a single early/mid February.

i think that a single or(Better) will be out by the first week of March, between now and then is when it should fall. And i dont know 'bout the rest of you but i dont think March 6th looks good any more maybe around May if we're lucky maybe Aprill. I pray i'm wrong

they better put it out before may..because Velvet Revolver is putting a record out in may...and you dont want to put a GNR album out the same time...it would be OVERLOAD.....but whatever...management apparently does whatever the fuck they want without common sense or reason, so I guess you could expect it in may....

i  dont think the single will be leaked anytime soon. with the new download radio chart rules. i really dont think there be any need to produce cds for singles. theyd just show it up on the site last minute before anyone knew about it . thus the reason y there isnt any leaks as of yet!

Yeah, if Axl was in NY recently, there's a good chance he was at least playing a portion of the album for the label execs.  Singles used to come out about 4-6 weeks prior but that was before the downloading craze.  Now it seems like singles tend to come out closer to 2-4 weeks before a release. 

For example, another major act...The Killers released their first single "When You Were Young" 3 1/2 weeks before the album came out.  Singles come out on Fridays so the radios can play them all weekend and create buzz for the coming week.

Who knows..there has been predictions for years and years that its coming out on this date and that date.  We have a March 6 "probable' release date, which means that February is the month for promotion.  No promo in Feb, NO CD in March. Simple.
