YESSS!! I love the first song they play, sounds like classic gnr sound right there. Everything sounds promising and I'm starting to think this is gonna be way better than contraband! I can't wait!  beer

It's probably too early to say, but from these clips to me it already sounds like it shits all over Contraband, and I love that cd!

Exactly what I'm thinking... the clips of Scott's vocals sound awesome.   beer

The song that's played while Scott is sitting down in the recording room from 0:30 till 0:40 sounds great.

Intentional. Dave's dead-pan "you should be excited too" made me laugh.

You know what's  really cool?

The songs in vlog #2 sound totally different from vlog #3. We got some slower songs which sound a bit like The Doors and we also got some hard rocking songs coming our way. I like the variation Smiley

i like the first song on vlog 2 (the one that was Doors-like), and the last song (rocker) on vlog 3.

apart from those there's some good riffing, but i'm not overly impressed so far...

sounds like Contraband vol 2 to me, and i wasn't a big fan of that album.

The song being played 30 seconds in is obviously the previously mentioned "Get Out The Door."

You think so? From those short clips, I hear much better guitar tones and riffing than Contraband.

Probably, but what I meant is, I hear the same formula, even if the songs sound better, they could very well be in Contraband, with all this talk about making a different album (for ex:concept album-I know it was later scrapped- ), I just thought it would be different.
