As long as things are pleasent, I don't think we should judge how they got there. Axl is currently on good terms with Izzy, Matt, Gilby, etc., and that's a good thing. Let's just leave it at that.

As for Axl & Slash at the VMA's. They are going to have to co-exist with each other, and they know it. Otherwise GN'R is going to steal events from VR and vice versa.

I think if they ran into each other, it'd be the same situation. Slash, "Hey Axl, how it's goin?", Axl "Fine man, you?", Slash "Pretty good, pretty good", Axl "Have a good show out there, i'll be watching", Slash "Thanks man, you too".

I think it'd be very PC and polite, personally.

I personally think they need to sit down, hug, and have a big long cry with each other. Life's too short, and it'd just be healthier for the both of them, as people, regardless of whatever is going on musically in their lives.

even though i'm not on any ones side in this arguement cause i respect both Slash and Axl on a very high level, but i highly doubt that that will happen

so i've read all your dream meetings some of you people tend to forget that the two bands have an album coming out and a band usually tours behind an album. so, i think none of them will be there at the awards, they will be on tour rocking out in who knows what part of the planet. sorry, no axl & slash meeting

Why wouldn't they talk if they'd meet each other there.. I mean.. they're grown up. They're no little kids. Axl has been acting really good with Izzy and also when he met Matt. So why not? They're mature people now..

That's what I think too. They are grown men, more mature now, and they'll at least be able to co-mingle in the same room with each other. The only problem I see is if someone forces them on each other, where they become uncomfortable.

Kind of like that time where someone lied to Vince Neil, and told him there was someone he just had to meet, and it ended up being Tommy Lee, after their bad blood. Or however that event went.

But like Supaplex said, both of them will probably be touring to support their albums, and won't make the VMA's.

If I were Axl I would never talk to any of these punks, considering their attacks at him through the years...They even let this asshole Scott Weiland poaring tons of shit on Axl...But the truth is - you can replace everyone of them and still you'll have GNR, the only one you couldn't replace is Axl...Cuz Axl is GNR...It's like Stones without Mick Jagger or Queen without Freddie - can't imagine such thing, can you...
Regarding the topic...a reunion in the near future is very possible cuz it would be a lot of money for all of them, and when it'll come to money they will fall in love with each other again...There is a small chance though this will not happen - Axl finaly delivers his Chinese Democracy and the album blows everybody's minds..Like the Appetite did back in 1987...And if he can get like 12 songs as good as Better and TWAT, there will be a chance...
