Here is Aaron's cover version of Patience from Jackson, CA that took place on January 11 of this year. I downloaded this from Dime and converted the file to mp3 to make it easier to download. I actually like this version and think he did a good job with the song. He didn't do any major changes to it and left it as is, which I think is good because Patience doesn't need any changing. I'm not a big Staind fan at all but I do like Aaron's voice and his solo acoustic shows seem to be pretty cool. His cover version of Pearl Jam's 'Black' from a few years ago was pretty damn good as well I thought.

How do you think this cover compares to the most recent performances of Patience on the '06 tour??

Staind is mostly metal, hard rock. I reccomend "Break the Cycle", their best album, IMO.

they aren't bad, some good songs, but after a while they all sound the same and the songs are all so depressing and sad.

This is a good cover tho.

I posted this topic in the GNR forum today but it got moved here. I POSTED IT THERE BECAUSE SHIT LIKE THIS http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?topic=33341.0 IS ALLOWED TO BE POSTED THERE. I actually talked about GNR in my opening post and that Carrie underwood topic didn't say fucking shit about GNR... biased fuckers.

Aaron Lewis's was good, but Carrie Underwood's destroys it. Carrie's cover was fuckin' amazing!  ok
