CD Wow is quite big...they are an online retailer for CDs and DVDs based in HongKong. They ship to all of Europe; ordered myself there a couple of times. It is very interesting to see them list it, because usually they do not advertise CDs long before the release. If I would not know better then I would think that a release is very close!!!!!

Its an educated guess, once axl meantioned the 6th of March all these companies will work around that. But it shows that the wheels are in motion. ok

I know, but still cheap. I don't buy many CD's anymore, but still expect to pay more than that. Maybe ?9.99.. Still, is it worth saving the extra couple of quid to wait for delivery... Naaah.

I bought Tool - 10,000 Days for 9.99$ Canadian the day it came out. So that's pretty much average. The labels are now paying for the lawsuits, price fixing, root kits, etc. They need to do everything they can to regain consumer trust.

Somehow I doubt that's the artwork.

I hope not.  I personally don't like that cover at all.  Not quite as "epic" or "timeless" as the UYI covers, or AFD, really.

But really, I'm not about to gripe about the artwork.  If the album comes in a brown paper bag, I could care less.

And I can't imagine that tracklist as accurate...

They most likely pulled it off from MyGNR.com

Somehow I doubt that's the artwork.

I'm sure it's not, just like it's not the tracklisting.

They probably got wind that it was coming and yanked the info off a forum.

Tres Bizzare, non?

« Reply #31 on: January 15, 2007, 01:01:06 PM »

Agreed, I doubt the artwork and tracklisting, but I really can't see that fairly large online retailers would have people going through internet forums looking for CD release dates, I think they must have heard the date elsewhere.

Agreed. no forum would tell them the 5th of march is a Sunday just for GNR. yes

Isn't that equivalent to $15 in the U.S.? So what's so shocking about it? It's NOT a double album so there's really no reason the price should be higher than that.

Another useless "OMG, THIS SITE HAS CD UP TO BUY!!" thread. If there were so reliable, they wouldn't put up a fake album cover and track listing.

they mention, that it`s provisional....

it`s definitely not a bad sign to say the least....

the track listing looks respectable,

cdwow would not pull it off a fansite etc. why would they?

looks promising.

Im sure if no website had it listed as 'Upcomming' there would be even more threads on here saying they are worried that no one is doing a pre-release awarness

Its not respectable at all.

Dizzy has said that Rhiad and Silkworms won't be on the album, and they're not going to put a 7 year old soundtrack song on the album either - re-recorded version or not.
