Typically those songs are not released as singles period, let alone released as the 1st single. Look at Estranged, a very similar song to T.W.A.T. The album was out three years before a single of Estranged came out.

I completely agree w/ you and realize T.W.AT. likely won't be a single. I was just basically sending a shout-out for T.W.A.T.  Estranged is also one of my favs and agree it was definitely way underrated. But, I guess that's not always a bad thing as long as we (the fans) know where to find it.

You missed my point.

What i'm saying is, even with the info from HD on Better being the single, Better being the first single is pretty common knowledge in the GN'R internet fan world. So for someone to use that, to give them credibility, just makes them look more 'not in the know'. It's old news.

All kidding aside, I think that we will get some info in the next few weeks.  All signs point to it anyway.  We've always had rumors of course, but it seems like we are getting the good kind of rumors right now, instead of the negative ones.

I think GunsGuy can be trusted....and I do think that things are rolling now.  It's just my optimisim, of course.  Anyone can be hopeful, and it doesn't mean that I'm gonna believe any rumor that comes down the pike.

It'll be "Better" more than likely. The whole "you'll here something that you've heard before but not in the same way" is nothing new. That little nugget of info has been circulating for the past several months. I am interested to see how exactly "different" it will sound. I'm sure it'll be great though....

My guess is that we won't really hear anything until Tuesday.  Tomorrow's a holiday....at least in RI it is. If it's one of those RI freak holidays, then maybe we will hear tomorrow
