I still can't see someone with 5,000+ posts getting bored all of a sudden and spewing bullshit for no reason..

I saw somebody with about that much start making crazy claims not too long ago.....crazy shit he said.

I've been on the train since the ballroom show last year. But my engine runs on truth, not fiction.

What kind of truth? Usually it's "straight from the horse's mouth" that is considered the truth. But straight from Axl's mouth on two occasions last year we heard a variation of, "It's definitely coming out this year." Recently, straight from him we've been told March 6th. But I don't think we can trust even from the horse's mouth. The only truth in the GN'R world now is actually having tangible proof in your hands or in front of your eyes (such as an album or a tour for instance).

Truth to me is at a concert and seeing my favorite band. Or seeing the CD in a store.

Second to that would be Axl.

People on message boards claiming they have a secret would be something I don't hold as truth.

I've never seen any type of post, such as that, turn out to be true. Only once, a few years back did somebody named "Danny" predict that GnR would be on the MTV music awards. Claimed he got it "faxed" to him or some nonsense. Turned out to be right, but later he got caught for making it all up. Out of the years I've been here reading, only one clown has been lucky enough to have the odds in his favor that one time, and even he got busted for being a liar.

Am I calling the guy a liar? No. But I have seen people with high post counts come forward and make nutty claims. I have seen endless people come forward and claim they know something, or heard something, or telling us "we're on the verge of something." I couldn't give a rat's ass man, this guy could have 10,000 posts and could work with blind kids. What he is saying is very non specific and easy to walk away from when it does not happen. Just like all the non truths that preceded him.

Edit: I also have seen people with high post counts get fooled by other posters into believing some bullshit via pms. They then put themselves out there saying "they have info" and it never materialized. They were made fools out of and left the board.

if the asshole at mygnr can't legally say something, then how come baz spilled the beans on "sorry" to a national magazine? ?also, baz claimed he played it at a pool party (or something), so did axl get all the people at the party to legally agree to not say shit like this guy?

also, if he can't say anything then why bring it up? ?seems to be an attention whore.

Seriously who cares.

If it happens, then we will be surprised, regardless if gunsguy says so or not.  In fact, this information really serves no purpose, especially since it is tantamount to grinning at one's own hand in poker. Good for him, but it doesn't really mean very much in the future history of this project and our enjoyment of it.

Well, at the moment, he seems to have an ace in the hole, so to speak. However, from his post, I do believe that he sincerely wants the rest of us to hear it, but he's legally bound to not reveal too much. For some reason, I believe the guy - and two weeks isn't a long time to wait if he is indeed bullshitting us. I've been waiting for 9 years - I can wait two more weeks.  ok
