GN'R and associates can promise all they want. Fact is they're driving a car without fuel. It wont make it to the destination unless they go out and push it, and that means they will arrive later than planned. Easy as that, hopefully. I'm positive towards a release "soon", but this year? No way.

If the album was/is coming out this year then someone outside the gnr cam would have to know something by now. Pressing plant , higher ups @ the label , promo people  .... theres just so much work and small things that have to be done by alot of people to prepare an album release. I am shocked we havent heard a whisper of information.

Is there anyone here who would camp out in front of a store if they knew for sure what date it was?

U know, they are treating us like scum. They could end all this bs if they wanted to! Just a sentence to give us the information regarding the album, thats all, one sentence. but they wont give even that. Dunno about you guys but i'm unimpressed. The gnr fans have been standing tall, supporting the band for over a decade without getting nothing concrete in return. i mean how many of us has been laughed at when we have been so "sure" about new album coming out and telling peeps about it, and then yet again, been let down by the band. This is kinda sad.

Nothing in return? Speak for yourself, but I have gotten a lot from this band. 7 shows over the past 5 years is pretty good I think. I will have those memories forever. They were awesome nights that I wish I could go back too, that I keep thinking about. So yeah, you better re-word your sentence to "I think this band has been treating ME like scum" Cause I haven't felt that way one bit. So don't speak for me, I can form my own opinions.

I agree.  If you feel ripped off because an album you haven't paid for isn't in your hands, then that's lunacy.  If you're mad because of the time you've invested thinking/writing/talking about the album...that's your own fault.  I'm thrilled to have seen Guns perform this year.  I'll go again when they come near.  Beyond that, I want the album, but cannot understand the hostility toward this process.

No.  I'd go at midnight if they would sell then.  I'd be there within minutes of it opening.  But there's no reason to camp out, unless you have reason to believe there are VERY few copies...which doesn't seem likely.  It's an album...not a new Playstation or any of that shit.
