Everyone knows in in China right now on vacation so im going to make this quick.

I just got off the phone with someone important and was told.

The album cover is a go and it looks great. Expect to see a commercial before the year is over about the Chinese Democracy album. The CD will be out early next year till im noted other wise.

At this point, if a release date is given near the end of the year for some time in 2007, its just pacification to try and make up for "empty" words by Axl himself.

I won't buy the date they give as it will hold as much weight IMO as "this is the year"......if they fail to get the long promised cd in our hands by the end of this year.

I still believe it is this year, I have to because it is the last straw for me.

I for one don't believe in a deity, a genius, the absolute or perfection. I believe in GNR.

I do think that it would be funny if it did drop on 12/12. I mean think about it....That would be a really good sneak attack. That day never really was as strongly rumored like other dates had been. It seems the majority of people that do believe it is coming out this year think it'll be on 12/19. That would be pretty cool for tomorrow to come and all of us are thinking we should either be hearing some news or possibly a single by Tuesday and BAM !..... THE ALBUM IS IN THE STORES.

Russtcb, No. I do think we will get an announcement for an early 07 release during the LA shows around the 19th. They gotta throw a dog a bone and offset the bad publicity when reality sets in on their 2006 comments. Just a feeling.
