Did anyone notice this at the bottom of the BBC's page?

The above listing contains a selection of the records released in forthcoming weeks. Not all releases are featured. The page was compiled to the best of our knowledge on 04 Dec 2006.

All details are subject to change. Please check artist and record company official websites for the latest details.

Forthcoming weeks - could it be?  Shocked drool

BBC doesn't handle second hand rumors. They must know that it is coming out. As a side note, Harley Davidson has taken down the Sheep Commercial off its front page.

The BBC finally has it listed for the first time!!! 2007!!! 2006???

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/newreleases.shtml

so along w/gnr's album under the "coming soon" section is Nas' album.  And it might interest you to know that the release date for that album is Dec. 19th.  Food for thought  ok
and the new Nas album leaked..........just sayin'  rofl

 rofl rofl
That really does not bode well, but we can hope that the fact it's the gunners means tightened security and shit.
I mean, I've never heard of Nas, but granted, I am quite musically ignorant.  Grin

The BBC are an extremely legitimate site..but they haven't put a date on the release. Forthcoming weeks could be many, many weeks. So until it says a release date the BBC really have nothing to loose by saying 'coming soon', as it has been stated by many, including Axl that it is coming soon. They are perhaps using him and the label who have stated that it will surface by the end of the year as their source.

But who knows....? I'm waiting for a reply to an email i sent them..so hopefully they may explain how they came across this 'info'.

I have a hypothesis that a press release is due imminently, due to the probability that the BBC has a record of previous successful reporting of data over an extend period of time.

Apparently, "Coming Soon" means the week after the last listed week on the BBC's site. And its way too coincidental that Nas' album is set to come out on the 19th.

So apparently the soon lists purpose is to give big artists one week of extra promotion? In other words, it's not your ordinary soon list.

That's what I've heard. And again, Nas already has a confirmed release date of Dec. 19. Its far too much of a coincidence for me to believe that its just by some random act that Chinese Democracy is the only other album on that "Coming Soon" list.
