Yeah as bad as I want this to be released, unless everything is a go behind the scenes, and they're just waiting to pull the trigger any day now, I don't see it coming out this year. ?I definitely think that if it's not released by years end, it'll be out soon(I know thats a bad word around here anymore ?  ) thereafter. |

Well, not to second guess Axl or Merck or anyone else, but I would think that if a release was going to happen during the tour, it would have been announced by now. They would want to tell us about a firm date as soon as they knew it to get people pumped for the remaining shows. This leads me to think taht we're still quite a long way from a firm release date, but maybe we'll hear something a few weeks after the tour ends when they've got time to concentrate on finishing touches/promotion plans etc.

I play this game for some time now and i still refuse to believe that we might not see the album this year or even at all....... Am i a maniac? hell yeah Do i check all relevant GNR sites everyday ? yupp Do i have a life? ?absolutely At some point they HAVE to release CD. The only reason why i try to stay positive is : I don't believe that GNR will have a good 2007 if the album does not drop. The whole construct will crash down and GNR could easily be history. You doubt we will see the album in 2006? Man i am with you but what we witness here might be ?the last chance. So until december 19th i will try to believe in the album Rock N' Roll |

I think they have revised the articles here and there. Yet they haven't edited the bit out. The press release reflects everything as it were at the time of its own publication date. Therefore it says the tour will kick off on Oct 20th in Jacksonville, which at the time was valid. Moreover, editing press releases after their publication and then presenting them as unmodified is rather silly to begin with. It's better to release a new one or make a new exclusive article for the site saying 'there's three Tuesdays left'.
