The CD release date rumor / speculation thread

I know the guy and he wouldn't be lying on this. He might be hoaxed by a friend but he wouldn't opened this thread intentionally if not true.

I never thought for a second that he was lying. But wouldn't someone in the UK have opened them this morning already? Unless it's a don't open till 3pm thing.

my friend who works in a music shop in our capital city said they recieved a delivery of a new material. On some of those boxes was written "DO NOT OPEN"...and "DELAYED"!!!

...so...but they did open today and I have to say that he know GNR very well!!!...coz he's A FAN of GNR and we talk about them very much about GNR and AXL and I met him this year in Metal camp...so anyway...I RECIECED THOSE INFORMATION JUST A FEW MINUTES AGO!!!

CD is RIGHT HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm 200km away from that shop, but now I'm going to see some other shop in my town to see what's new!

...wish me luck!!!

So a record store in Slovenia has opened a box saying "do not open" and found ChiDem. ?If it's true that means that through-out Europe all other major record stores will have said box.... But as yet nothing from any where else... ?Given the above what conclusions can you draw. ?

Well, the last we heard from GNR, they said that it was coming out in 2006. ?So why don't we wait and see if this is true? ?If it doesn't come out, then we can bitch. ?I have no idea when the cd will be out, but I'm still believing them untill otherwise. ?And if it doesn't come out, obviously something happened that delayed it. ?Do you honestly think that Axl and Merck would say that it is coming out when it wasn't? ?c'mon. ?If it has been delayed, we will be getting it shortly either way.

And would people stop saying that an album needs all this promotion months in advance. ?The new Guns N Roses album will not need that much promotion, because it will make money over time. ?As soon as people start to hear about it. ?

So I say again, based on what GNR has told us....

Hey wadaya know, you talked me round! We should relax til it doesnt come out by years end if that turns out to be the case. But i dont necasarily think we should be so trusting of their reasons for not releasing it yet as they have given me very little reason to trust them where the release of this album is concerned.

The only thing I can think of that's possible is they have the box, and aren't supposed to open it yet. This guy decided to open the box when he wasn't supposed to yet. I'm still 99% sure this is fake, as someone mentioned, no art details, tracklist, anything. He would have found that out.

depends: In Germany records would be pusblished on a friday, maybe as well in Slovenia...Don`t know about the slovenian logistics network, but in Germany new releases would usually arrive on thursday...

Universal manufactures the cd's in Germany(europe). Slovenia is "in the neighbourhood" (so to say).
Not totally unrealistic that the cd's pop up in europe /eastern europe first.
