oh yeah i forgot he sent me the instrumental versions too. As far as knowing how he got ahold of the songs, he mentioned that he knew someone that worked at a strip club in Vegas and gave him the cd with the leaks, he also told me that someone else had another cd with different demos. Why didn't I choose the vegas DVD? I was so excited about the leaks that i didn't know what to do, i wanted everyone to hear as much of democracy and one new songs is better than watching a set list that was used throughout the 2002 tour.

The only song i wanted leaked was IRS , i thought leaking the rest of the songs would make axl go back to the studio and start over due to ppl's reaction but most of it was positive thank god!

I think choosing the demos was a far better idea then picking the DVD, but I only say that because the demos leaked
But really, you said you only wanted to leak IRS because you were afraid of people's reactions to the other ones, did you really think Better and TWAT sucked and people would hate them or something?

BTW, I never knew about instrumental versions, did those leak too? are they out there?

Is anyone else losing interest in the release?

Of course I'll buy it when it comes out but last week and weeks before I woulda taken a day off work and ran like the wind to get down to the local record store...

Now I just feel like the noveltys begining to wear too slightly.

I'm not losing interest in the album, I'm losing interest in the message boards. Everybody is just making shit up and over-analyzing every little thing that happens. It's annoying and frustrating. It just makes the wait seem a lot longer.

It was so much more fun a month or two back... now everythings dead.... no news... no updates.... and we are running outa Tuesdays....

If CD isnt out next week... then jeez what are the band thinking.

Bottom line is if the album hit the shelves 3 months ago the tour would be sold out.

I personally could give a shit if the tour is sold out. The band (from what I've seen) doesn't put one ounce less energy into their performance based on crowd size and that's all that matters to me.

As for the CD, I'm still hoping for next week. Soley because I want to hear the album and that is all.

I don't care if Axl proves people wrong and blah, blah, etc, etc. I just want to hear the album.

For what it is worth, i rang HMV in Grafton street in Dublin, Ireland today and they have Chinese Democracy on their system for release in Ireland on December 18 2006. The shop guy also told me that it is priced on the system at ?24.99. He added that this could change when the album comes in.

I then asked him could that date change cause i had heard it was coming out on 28 November (on this site - didn't tell him the actual site). He said that it could be moved forward but it is not in stock and he did not know anything about it so it would be unlikely.

Just wanted to share the info take it for what it is worth.

i think the week before christmas seems most likey at this point, mainly because i think it gives whoever is involved just enough time to sort this shit out and get the album out, seems like the 28th will pass with nothing happening........

Three weeks ago it was the same with 21st November. I really hope CD will come out December, but I strongly doubt it. Let's hope I'm not right.
