the day after christmas is Boxing Day

guess the 26th should be officially crossed off as the day before it is xmas. hihi
Merck once implied it would be before Christmas to boot.

BTW, polluxlm you got a similar email no?

I didn't get it, just copied and pasted from mygnr. And yes, it was similar, if not the same.

Also take in mind that "the day after christmas" is the 25th in Europe and the 26th in the US.

I meant to ask that. Being an American, that makes me ignorant to the rest of the worlds customs. To my knowledge Christmas is only a big deal in the States. Having said that, December 25 is pretty much a normal day elsewhere but America right?
!!!! ?Yeah the birth of Christ means nothing to anyone apart from the US. ?C'mon please use a bit of common sense!

25th is Christmas Day in most places, however some countries in Europe celebrate the 24th (Christmas Eve) a little more than the 25th depending on local tradition.

Boxing Day (26th) many shops open as the sales start in the UK..

I think the celebration of the 24th stems from the luther-protestant (or something) movement. Believe most northern European countires (Germany and upwards) celebrate on that day. It could of course only be my country, but nah, we're not that independent hihi

if its released on the 26th december (boxing day) then it will be released worldwide on the same day as most places are shut on xmas day (25th).its a great plan coz that way, everyone goes to the sales on boxing day and the CD will be there for the first time.im a little behind on these rumoers so dont laugh if its already been pointed out ?hihi

I'm hoping for the 28th.  Especially because I don't want to see footage of Brett walking naked down the street. Shocked

Thanks for getting things back on track. Even though it's my fault they're off!

Anyways.... From what I gather the hot dates most people are banking on are

November 28
December 5
December 26

I can't remember why alot of people thought December 5 was big though.

not really.some companys like HMV etc etc might pay a small amount of poeple to work xmas day in europe to put the CDS out ready for boxing day.that way its still released on the 25th in europe but nobody can buy it till the 26th.less chance of it gettin on the net the day before the US gets it.the whole world will then get it the same day
