Yeah, I see your point. But when the choice stands between that type of release or summer 07, I can't see any reason to nitpick on those kind of details.
you are right but i'd love to be surprised and not find out about artwork and all the stuff surrounding a new cd from the message boards. i want to actually have the cd in my hands Grin
it might be a little detail but...

Polluxm, that guy's posts are interesting. Could be completely full of shit but they are interesting. Shocked

That's what I've been saying, so let's forget about Brett Meisner for the moment hihi

Very informative posts and they're layed out in a non-attention seeking way. I think he's created like 1 topic. Could be bullshit of course, but this is a new kind of bullshit to me. And I've been here a long time.

I've been keeping my eye on this poster too... I'm not quite sure if it's the real deal, but it seems like he could be onto something.  Of course, some "fake insiders" have pulled elaborate schemes in the past.  But as you said, this guy isn't coming off as someone who cares if we all believe him or not, which is something that fake insiders usually care about.

I PM'd him yesterday to ask if he could tell me who he was, or atleast give me a hint or some vague answer. Hans't heard anything yet, and he's been online since then.

Slack journolism not changing it which indicates they won't have reserached this much.  Presume they are just referring to the Universal Canada story that said they had no album information which apparently was discredited by Merck?

Or maybe he doesn't want to reveal his identity. I really don't know, could be anything, but for me there's not much else interesting to speculate on these days. The band is not talking and the boards are flooding with YES/NO brawls.

One thing worth remembering. Somebody on some of the boards know something. Who they are, and what they tell us is not easy to discover since there's so much other bullshit drowning them. For the moment this guy is one of those guys to me. I've performed a couple of searchs on the 3 big forums to see if I can spot these characthers, but so far only this guy has caught my attention. Lennonisgod seems to know something too by the way, but not in an insider way it seems.

I think maybe some of the mods have some basic knowledge too. Their answers to the subject often reek of something unspoken. Or maybe I'm just going crazy hihi

All the rumors that noone from the management team bothers to confirm/deny, exist on purpose.
Disorientation will make the surprise even bigger.

I think the 28th will be the date for several reasons.

HD and 93X (or something) hints at a single release around the 19th.

We've heard different reports of something special happening for the band on the 21th.

The guy with the Far Downs rumour (who have yet to be proven false) said he heard the 28th.

The guy who talked to the Brazillian store was told the 28th, for sure.

Brett Meisner came on here and said the 28th, for sure.

And finally, check out this guy. Very interesting: http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?action=profile;u=11033;sa=showPosts

Yeah, I was wondering why no one was bringing up thie Brett Meinser guy anymore. 28th it is!

LOL! Are you guys aware of what a flake Meisner is? Seriously, he's been a long time poster on various other hard rock message boards over the years and aside from always flogging whatever stupid project he's trying to get of the ground, he's long since been proven to have no more creditbility than a coin toss.

I'm still watching out for yourfinalanswer's posts and I think he knows something.

Sad thing is, if he turns out to be right, people will just say he was guessing.

Half of the people say he's a phony and doesnt know shit, and half say he's legit.  For the sake of the delusion the album is going to come out this year, I'm am going to cling to the notion he is legit.

JamesLofton29, our spokesman...
Point me to one of my posts where I claim I am "our spokesman".

That was pointed to the poster above me who gladly accepted your post as a summary of the feelings "of the loyal fanbase" which I found hilarious... Here is his post.

great post james  beer

you perfectly summed up the sentiments of the loyal fanbase and how they're going to feel if it turns out that the promise of CD in 06 is yet again more bullshit

I cant fathom the hostility shown by management to the only advocates they have left (see Del James article)

Not only he knew you're the loyal fanbase's spokesman, but he also knew how will they feel. Nostradamus...

What you need to understand

What you need to understand is that I am just giving my opinion. Like everyone else here is doing. But since I dont worship this little game management is playing I guess I need to be singled out. Just because you've been to several shows in a couple different countries doesn't make your opinion superior to mine.

First, you're not singled out. I reply to lots of posts everyday. One of them, today, was yours. If you think you're so special, don't. You're not. At least not to me. I don't give a damn if you won't worship any "games" you think the management is playing.

Second, if you think that I wrote an entire post, depending on my experiences from going to other countries to see GN'R, then I rest my case.

If you read my post again, and can come up with better arguments, I might answer.

But if you think that taking 5 words out of my entire post is cool, just to show off with a "comeback", then I won't even bother again.

Here's the link.
