Far Downs

Downs in the Westfarthing of the Shire. Originally the Far Downs formed the western border of the Shire. In the year 31 of the Fourth Age, Aragorn, King Elessar, extended the Shire westward from the Far Downs to the Tower Hills. This new area was called the Westmarch. One village on the Far Downs was Greenholm, home of Fastred who married Elanor Gamgee.

I got a question though.. Is this Far Downs thing confirmed? I read the thing about how some record store dude said they were recieving a shipment of albums by the far downs on the 19th. But has that been confirmed?

I went into an FYE store today and explained the whole Far Downs thing to the clerk. He didn't look at me like I was crazy, which was good

He did check on the computer for a Far Downs listing, but came up empty. However, he noted some records don't show up on the computer until the day before, so.......

.....back to square one. The mystery continues.

I went into FYE yesterday and asked the guy working at the counter if he knew anything about GnR's "Chinese Democracy".  He looked at me very puzzled and asked "What's that?"  I thought he was joking at first but soon realized it was no joke.  The guy seriously had no idea what "Chinese Democracy" is.  He asked me several times what it was called as he tried to look it up on their computer.  Of course, he found nothing, which was what I expected, but I thought I would ask anyways.

If they don't come out with the album on the 21st or the 28th of this month....I will have resolved to move on with my life and musical interests into another direction. If by some wierd chance it comes out after then but before the new year (which from a business standpoint doesn't make much sense with the holiday soon upon us) I will embrace it but not without feelings that are a bit less than "endearing" for the new band.
If this album comes out after the new year the only way in hell that I will purchase it out-right is if it's an album with something more to it...like a double album or an album with DVD concert or a documentary like "The makeing of CD" component. Mind you in the the new year I will not purchase an album with a one or two video bonus additon but a real fucking addition to the package which adds equity to the overall purchase.
If my demands are not met I'll download the fucker for free in the new year!
