In Chicago the stores have no information available. I spoke to someone at the Virgin Megastore who said that he can't find anything with Guns N' Roses listed for the next two months except for the recently re-released vinyl of Appetite.

I also have called a few other local stores called KARMA and before they never had anything in their computers, but today when I called 2 different stores have it in their computer as TBA. I guess not huge information but considering they never had any info before who knows....

.... well... I also wanted to make my part... I just called to Mixup (the biggest cd store in all the country). (+52 442 2209344)... and yep.... they answered me without any hesitation that they have it scheduled for November 21st.............
and now... I'm starting to believe it....... yes I am.........

I know this has been a topic for a while but...
This makes me believe the date is indeed the 21st. Why would they have the instore on the 28th if it's the day of release and nobody knows about it/only have a few days notice?
Makes more sense to me that the news/album will be out for a full week before they show up to do an in-store.

... to be honest, I thought that they were not to have any idea.... I was waiting for an answer like "what?  which record???".... but not..... I'm sure that the guys in the office for mix up don't even know anything about all of the gossips...... and this guy didn't hesitate at all!!....... since here in Mexico we're next to USA, we receive all of the CD's actually at the same time........ mexico is the biggest market in Latin America.... so.... call it what ever you want.... but yes..... I believe.........  |

Yeah, I'm sure the major stores down there are just as reliable as the US ones. Still a little funny though, considering the perception the world has of mexico. But then again, that's through Hollywood movies  |
