I called them because of another poster talking about some album called Green Trees and Blue Grass, that they hadn't heard of. ?They did however have Chinese Democracy on their database and the release on Dec12th.

Website says 18th December....lots of mixed messages from HMV but the "secret shipment" seems the most promising lead rather than some guy at the end of a phone picking a random Tuesday. And I believe the 20th (UK) date  EDIT: and the stores wont know about "The Blue Trees and Green Grass" by the "Far Downs" yet as the shipment hasn't even arrived at the warehouses yet and it's top secret. |

ChineseDemocracy.com say it's being shipped under a false name in large quantities and is to be released Nov. 21st That's why I called them up. ?To see what they were receiving on Nov 20th. ?Anyways, I cut to the chase, and just said look, are there any albums that you haven't had listed for weeks or months in advance, and explained the GNR thing, and that's when he said they were expecting to put a new GNR album on the shelves on Dec 12th. |

My Guess is that the new single has been shipped, being Better. As the fake title of this cd refers to the PC lyrics and Far Downs to something related to Lord of the Rings. Now LOTR was filmed in New Zealand and that country is famous for sheep. The new Harley commercial is called Black Sheep and now contains PC. This will be replaced by Better after the 19th. |
