The CD release date rumor / speculation thread

Don't know what to make of this. The guy is a noob, but the band is in Chicago at that date and it's a nice tie in to a single release on the 21st. The way it's written doesn't seem fake either. But we all know that you never know.

that would make sense with what the metaltalk podcast said, how there is something happening the 21st, but it is not the release of the album.

This guy is telling the truth - almost 100% guaranteed - here is why:

1. GNR are in Chicago on that date.

2. Brett Meisner if you recall came on the boards ashort while ago and said 100% November 28th is the date. This guy just isn't wrong.

3. Originally when the 21st was announced on Rolling Stone several posts to the contrary claimed it to be a week off and it was actually supposed to be the 28th.

I'm pretty sure this is accurate - this guy who posted here frankly has no reason to lie and unless Axl and crew has decidede to push it back yet again, I have a feeling the 28th is gonna be it

We'll know when Merck sees it and calls Jarmo to have it removed

That record store is going to get run down with calls and emails tomorrow. If it's true the guy could actually get fired.

Would be very surprised if it was a drunken post. Where's the spelling mistakes and promises of Axl dancing naked on a stage? 

I don't know about working hours in America, but if he works late and found out today, that timing also fits. Alot of shit fits here, that's what's catching my attention a little.

Well most retail places in America are open till at least 9pm. Add a few hours of recovery and getting the store back to "Grand Opening" condition. Why would Axl want Chicago as an in store apperance?

Yes and no.  Maybe in NYC, but Chicago?  Doubtful.  Then again, it's the supposed release of the record, so anything is possible. 

I hope it's true, but I'm sick of anything without a source.
