well, the first trailer of "The Da Vinci Code" is released, and there is no GNR music on it, so i guess they wont have any main soundtrack on the movie.

Trailer music changes all the time as the movie gets closer to release--the first Superman Returns trailer featured the John Williams score but the actual score is being done by someone else...too early to tell.

I was in my neighborhood Sunrise buying a Pink Floyd DVD for my dad tonight and just for the hell of it, I asked a guy working if he knew when the new GnR album would be released. Right away, he put on a huge grin and was like "..Chinese Democracy?" I asked him if he what he thought of the new band and he said he was lucky enough to see the new lineup in Toronto and that they played the old songs flawlessly as a.."cover band" I immediately said they were so far above being just a cover band and that the new album would be phenomenal and that Tommy Stinson's imput might be worth the price of admission alone. What I thought was most notable was he said Axl's new music might be awesome but he'd give anything for the old band back together. Finally, he just said he hoped to hear it soon because Axl still had the talent going by the title track, and even said the style of Madagascar was something new and unique..

Chinese Democracy will be released, followed by two more yearly albums.
A live Album is rumoured to be made of the following tour (this will contain live versions of songs from the following albums to whet our appetites.
CD's release date has been confirmed By Axl Rose as 28th April 2006.
It contains 12 Tracks, including Madagascar, CD, IRS and the blues.




I know this because him and the band popped round to my house for tea, we had spaghetti bolognese and sponge with ice cream for pudding. and we discussed this over the starter course. The two remaining courses were talk of how Slash will do some of the later live shows, and contribute to some new album tracks. And he is also buckethead. This is really true, honest*
