I don't know if Geffen still exists, but I know for sure that Guns N'Roses is over since 1996.

I like the "new" band (almost 10 years old) a lot.

But it's not Guns N'Roses. It's just something else...
There's no link at all with the genuine GN'R.

Stop whining about that shit. Axl and Dizzy work for the rest of us. Along with the others, that's Guns to me. Axl is.

I for a second thought you were 10 years old from what you stated in brackets! A 10 year old Guns fan! Its too bad I misread your post...I have got to stop smoking crack! 

As for Guns...with Axl at the helm it Guns no matter what. Dizzy also makes it more 'Gunnish'. Then there are some real rock n roll guys like Stinson and Fortus. I am extremely excited about this 'new' band. I could care less if there is a reunion (and I love the others too) but Guns has evolved into something different and maybe when everything is released we'll see it evolve into something better! I am optimistic!

I am convinced it will be released 'sooner' rather than later. There are a lot of positive factors in the air for Guns.
You had large sales of GHits, the dvd's sold well, Axl stepping out of his Malibu fortress for vocals on San Andreas, band members seemingly convinced its all going down 'soon', and VR bringing interest to GnR.

Like I said I think everything will work out.....stay positive.

Not to jump into this name thing, but it's silly to say that Axl & Co kept the name after Tracii (and Rob) left. Do you know who made GN'R the biggest band on Earth? Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff and Steven. That's why it's the classic line-up. Noone cares about Tracii Guns and his 3 months in GN'R.

1. look forward to the new album
2. think it exists
3. likes Axl?


By constantly whining about it not existing, by constantly whining about Axl not doing anything, you're begging to get attacked. This might not be the place with the most objective view on the band since, after all, this is a board for fans of the band.

Negative whining people cause problems. Problems on the board often cause me to ban people.

Jarmo... I am also looking forward to the new album. I also like Axl. Do I sometimes question the existence of CD? Of course I do. Everybody does from time to time. It's a logical response to the last ten years. I personally believe all sides of these issues should be talked about. Not just the topic about there being an infinite number of songs on CD and that its coming out next month. To me, that is even more unreasonable than the "doesn't exist" theory. I don't see why you guys are jumping on to me about it. I'm not the first person to ever question CD's existence, and I sure won't be the last. And for the record, I am not a "constant whiner". I try to be as positive about CD as everyone else. I like looking at ALL the theories surrounding the mystery of CD, and the "doesn't exist" theory just happens to be one of them.

axl has more dumb shit said about him than anyone else ever in rock.... why wouldnt he defend himself?  at least he did it at his shows and when he's not playing out live he keeps his mouth shut.  He doesnt talk often.  When he does go out and say saomething I would imagine he would have a lot to get off his chest.  Who wouldnt.  Also, anyone who still thinks there is no music - we've heard so many fuckin people from Brian May to Moby to the band members Like tommy say the music is amazing.  One asshole (slash) says he hears there are almost no vocals done and every moron out there thinks this is the truth.   This is so fuckin old.  There is not gonna be a gnr reunion any time soon.  CD will come out.  There is music with vocals recorded.  Anyone that says anything different should just be banned.  Straight to hell.

But it's stupid callin' Slash an asshole in the GN'R section, just like callin' Axl an asshole in the VR section  It's just fuckin' hatred towards a man who created Guns N' Roses, the band we all like... but sometimes I feel like some 'GN'R fans' don't even know and love the original band.
