madagas, I puzzled over the same points and then I read them like gigger wrote.

Quality papers must have many sources to look into, let alone the Reuters one that is piss easy to find on the net. Not that they always make a truthful or 100% accurate report.

umm some of these people like moby didnt "work" on cd.  moby went in and listened to it.   Then turned down the job so he could release his cd.

Albums in the UK are released on Monday's. The 26th is a Tuesday. Sounds like another bit of bullshit to me.

That's what I thought too, but I've heard the same thing from two different people.

I'm not saying this release date is legit, I'm just wondering if HMV is actually listing it.

Well, actually it is true. I have the flyer in front of me and Chinese Democracy is listed under Forthcoming Releases for the 25th of April, not the 26th, which makes more sense since the 25th is monday.

Now, I don't think this means anything cos, as DemocracyRose pointed out, record stores have done this before...

I live in Camden. I just went down to the HMV in Oxford Street and looked around the shop till I found it
