Axl has been in the studio a lot more then usual lately.
Maybe you guys will get it.
Just have to wait and see.
He get's pissed that people have a tendency to say some shit about him on TV or whatever and I think that's part of the delay.
I know he was sick shortly after Christmas and taking a break from stuff, but he's been busy lately.

OK, fan/friend.  Anything else you want to add about Axl and his personal stuff.  Does it really affect an album if your sick?  Maybe it will make his voice more raspier??

It's a shame that some people have their unrealistic hopes that Axl will show up just because they saw Paul McCartney's name. Talking about surprise guest appearances I would have voted for Lennon to sing a duet with Paul. It would have been more likely... It's stupid to get pissed off because Axl didn't show up for a gig that was never even mentioned by band sources.

Dude...there was no shot in hell that Axl or GnR were to be there.
The fact that Axl covered a Paul McCartney penned song (and PLENTY of bands
have covered Beatles or Wings songs) is no reason to think he's just going
to show up. I didn't think anyone actually believed that Axl Rose (in 2005) would be
a good choice as a surprise guest. Besides us (and other rock n roll fans), Axl has a lot
to do in order to restore credibility to mainstream audiences.

Well, The Rumorboard is now saying perhaps a mid-summer release.  The Rumorboard is based upon "Rumors", by whom I don't know.  but since Tommy did speculate on European festivals, Mid-Year does sound right.

That would mean were looking at a possible June release? What about a single? Ya think Valentines Day? I don't want to get personal but I would'nt mind maybe the Blues and I.R.S. as a two song single-double dipper to wake up too.

I pulled this from Sp1at, its probably in the Tommy section but I can't access that at the moment.

My question is, could Sanctuary effectively 'sanction' Tommy's solo work now until Axl gets CD finished? It would be one way of putting the pressure on to get the album finished.

Tommy Stinson - Hollywood Date

According to Pollstar, Tommy Stinson is set to play a one-off date at the Hotel Cafe, Hollywood  on March 4th 2005.

Diane Gentile, Tommy Stinson's manager, has told Splat that plans for a UK tour have been delayed by Stinson's record company, Sanctuary.
