I just like how someone with the screen name Axl Rose instant messaged me saying Chinese Democracy March 2005, and signed off.  Haven't heard from "Axl Rose" since.

Not necessarily. Anyone can have any screen name. I change my screen name all the time to whatever I want. This is using MSN Messenger though. I'm not sure what program you're using.

I'm sure a while back we all made guesses for the release date of CD - I think I guessed March - can one of the moderators find this thread? It would be interesting to see what everyone said!

Nobody knows for sure when Chinese Democracy is coming out...but one thing is for certain.  IF and EVER Axl W. Rose dies, Geffen(er whatever the studio is) will release the album to recoupe all the money they lost by renting out their studios and supplying them equipment.  So it is certain that Chinese Democracy will come out within the next 50 years.  peace

From admin. at Rumourboard...

The current status of gnr is that album is completed and band members are waiting on a release date being announced, which could happen at any time. Tommy mentioned a short while ago that there is some planning and negotiating still to do for the album. Band members have also been urged to keep quiet until a release date is announced, which is why they have been relatively silent.

This rumor is based on Jaz review from Tommy's gig in NY, when he talked with Fortus and he said that CD is done. Its lame that the rumor board put this thing like they are "insiders".  no
