I do think this is the closest we've ever been. I do wonder about this whole lack of a third guitarist. Perhaps they are trying to settle that issue first before an announcment.

- They have no confirmation about a release date of "chinese democracy" for november. They have no news.
- The album is likely not to be be released in 2004.

ok Jarmo, but some month ago, they informed me about the November rumour before it aired on VH1-behind the music. They had the information (wich is now just a rumour) before. I had even informed Will on that.

Well, I bet you can pre-order the album in many stores even though it doesn't have a release date yet.
All I'm saying is that there are people who would know about the release date before a guy working at the record store will know about it. There's probably people on this board who would know about it before the record stores would start telling people the album's coming.

Hopefully this could squash any rumour as of a release date being set yet. I just informed her that I am simply a fan and wanted to know of a "timeframe" as to when we will hear of a release date.

What I expect is that perhaps these tentative dates are indeed bullshit and maybe Sanctuary knows about as much as we do.? Why I posted this is because all that have been posted were assumptions not fact.?And Im bored at work. She could be pulling us in circles, but the various people online saying Jan or Feb 1st are more than likely bullshit.? I don't know about you but I rather enjoy what little info I get directly from the horses mouth. |

I will ONLY believe a release date once Axl decideds to let us know when CD will drop. I also feel we are getting closer and closer to a possible release of Chinese. Im guessing everyone Geffen\Interscope and Santuary have been told by the big guy (Axl) to keep their mouths shut and not to mention anything. The email could also be a pre-typed text. It was a good shot though.
