The CD release date rumor / speculation thread

Wow, thanks man, so there's still a little glimmer of hope.  I can't wait for this thing.  It feels so close.  Do you guys think it'll just be Axl doin a couple interviews?  I'm very biased, but it seems to me like that's all it would take.  Maybe go on MTV and do a sit down with Kurt Loder, that should get everyone's attention.
Let's keep the hope alive.
P.S.  We need to start a petition to rid this board of the haters.

that alone is worth CD coming out!

Hi, one more rumor to add.

Finnish chart show  (official) TOP40 stated that Chinese Democracy will most likely be out Thursday 4th of November.

They said while showing that Greatest Hits had climbed back to #6. Contraband was somewhere above 30.

Dumb question: do cds usually get released on thursdays in western europe? That rumor's popped up twice now...here in the states, as probably everyone knows, it's tuesdays.

I think someone needs yo track and trace down where all these websites/VH1 get their data from. If ONE person pulls shit out of their ass and claims it to be the truth others will just jump on the train and report it too. So if one little person some where started the rumor, got it on online, one of the VH1 workers seen it online, put it out on tv, other sites pick it up.  With the internet all it takes is one asshole to get everyone's hopes up and ruin them.

Dizzy Reed said hopefully that it will come out this year. Tommy Stinson said that later this year or early in 2005. So, it's not like it's just one asshole that come up with this rumor. It has it's substance to it.

I just wish if it was made up BS, management would come out and shoot down the rumor so I dont have to get my hopes up (AGAIN!) and if there is any truth to it, management could just say something along the lines of "You'll see in November" That way they arent saying yes for sure but acknowledge that things are in the works.

Yes and I believe Dizzy and Tommy arent even 50% sure of what Axl is doing, but Tommy said late 04 or early 2005, so if it aint out by the end of march of 2005 then we'll know Tommy doesnt know what is going on and is only hurting us more.
